Durban
Web design Durban businesses can book remotely: we build shops, portals and websites from Casablanca, one hour from your clock. Delivery options, VAT at 15 % and POPIA are scoped before any code is written.
Durban, from Casablanca
Web design Durban buyers often run businesses that move goods: shops, wholesalers, importers, freight firms and manufacturing suppliers. KwaZulu-Natal has one of South Africa’s major ports, and many firms here depend on it. We design, build and host the site from Casablanca and work in your hours.
There is no Durban office. Durban keeps UTC+2 all year, one hour ahead of Casablanca. You share seven hours a day with us, from 10:00 to 17:00 your time, or six during Ramadan. That is enough for a live checkout review and for walking through your shipping rules together.
This page sits inside our web design for South African businesses, part of the South Africa hub.
Durban rules
Selling and shipping. South Africa’s Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (ECTA) tells online sellers what to show on their site, such as the business name, address and contact details. It also gives most online buyers a seven-day cooling-off period, with exceptions. We build your terms, returns and delivery pages into the layout. Your lawyer confirms the wording.
VAT and imports. VAT is 15 %. Goods you import carry customs duty and import VAT at the border, which belongs in your costing. Ask your accountant or clearing agent how it applies to you.
Couriers and payments. RAIN Store lists Aramex, DHL Express, FedEx and UPS among its carriers. A South African courier such as The Courier Guy is custom work: we read its documentation, then quote. For payment we connect PayFast, Yoco, Peach Payments or Ozow, as you choose.
Languages and privacy. English and isiZulu are both widely used in KwaZulu-Natal. We build the structure for a bilingual site, and native writers produce the copy. POPIA covers the customer data your checkout collects.
What we build
A Durban business that ships needs the status of an order to be visible to customers and staff alike. We build portals that show each shipment’s steps, hold the documents, and answer “where is my order” without a phone call.
Selling online
A shop wins or loses at checkout. We design the cart, the delivery options and the totals so a buyer sees the shipping choice, the VAT at 15 % and the final price before paying. We connect the gateway you choose and test the flow with test orders.

FAQ
What businesses in Durban ask before they book a call.
No. We work remotely from Casablanca and meet on video in your working day. There is no Durban office. If you need someone on site, a local agency is the better fit.
Yes, as custom work. RAIN Store already lists Aramex, DHL Express, FedEx and UPS. For a local courier we read its API documentation first, then quote the integration.
ECTA tells online sellers to show details such as the business name, address and contact information, and it gives most buyers a seven-day cooling-off period. The exact duties depend on what you sell, so your lawyer should confirm. We build the pages and the layout.
We can build the structure of a bilingual site. Native writers should produce the copy, because we work in English and cannot check translated text ourselves.
Durban is one hour ahead of Casablanca all year, and two hours ahead during Ramadan. You get seven shared hours a day, or six in Ramadan, from 10:00 to 17:00 your time, or from 11:00 in Ramadan.
