Web design agency Canada: websites and software, built remotely
We design websites and build CRM and ERP software for Canadian businesses, remotely, from Casablanca. We work in English, overlap with Eastern-time mornings, and agree tax, privacy and code ownership before the first invoice.
Why Canada
What a Canadian business gets from a Casablanca studio
Canadian businesses can hire us as a web design agency and as a software team. We design and build the website, then connect it to the systems behind it: a CRM, an ERP, an online store or a client portal. You deal with one team from the first sketch to the server.
We work remotely from Casablanca, Morocco. There is no Canadian office, and we do not pretend otherwise. What you get is a fixed quote, a working preview at every step, and all code and documentation at handover. Canada is wide, so shared hours depend on your coast. The table below shows how.

Rules we build around
Tax, privacy and language in Canada
Tax. Canada charges a federal GST of 5 %. Some provinces combine it with their own tax into a single HST, and Ontario’s is 13 %. Quebec adds QST at 9.975 %. British Columbia, Saskatchewan and Manitoba charge their own provincial sales tax. A store or an invoicing system has to apply the right rate for each province.
Ask your accountant how GST/HST applies to an invoice from a supplier abroad. We give you itemised invoices to work from.
Privacy and email. PIPEDA is the federal privacy law for private businesses. Alberta and British Columbia have their own similar laws, and Quebec’s Law 25 is stricter about consent. CASL requires consent before you send marketing email. We design forms, CRMs and mailing lists with these rules in mind.
Language. Bill 96 strengthened French-language rules for businesses in Quebec. If you sell there, plan a French version. We can build a bilingual structure. A native Quebec French writer should produce the copy, and a Quebec lawyer should confirm what applies to you.
Time zones
How Canadian working hours line up with ours
Counted for a 09:00 to 18:00 day in Casablanca and a 09:00 to 17:00 day on your side. Summer means daylight time, from the second Sunday of March to the first Sunday of November. During Ramadan the gap is one hour smaller.
| Time zone | Gap to Casablanca | Shared hours |
|---|---|---|
| Atlantic (Halifax) | 4 hours behind in summer, 5 in winter | 5 hours in summer, 4 in winter |
| Eastern (Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal) | 5 hours behind in summer, 6 in winter | 4 hours in summer, 3 in winter |
| Central (Winnipeg) | 6 hours behind in summer, 7 in winter | 3 hours in summer, 2 in winter |
| Mountain (Calgary, Edmonton) | 7 hours behind in summer, 8 in winter | 2 hours in summer, 1 in winter |
| Pacific (Vancouver) | 8 hours behind in summer, 9 in winter | 1 hour in summer, none in winter |

FAQ
Questions from Canadian buyers
What businesses in Canada ask before they book a call.
No. We work remotely from Casablanca, Morocco, and we do not claim a Canadian address. You get calls in your morning and written updates in between.
How much working-hour overlap do we have?
On the East Coast, 3 to 4 hours a day. In Central time, 2 to 3. In Mountain time, 1 to 2. On the Pacific coast, up to 1 hour, so calls happen early in your day and updates are written.
Can you build software that handles GST, HST and QST?
Yes, as custom work. We agree the tax rules with you and your accountant, write them into the scope and test them before launch. Our ready products, such as RIVER ERP, are built Morocco-first, so Canadian tax is not a ready-made module.
Do you build with PIPEDA and CASL in mind?
Yes. We design forms, mailing lists and CRM data with consent and access rules in mind. Compliance depends on how your business collects and uses data, so we write your rules into the scope and suggest a Canadian lawyer confirms them.
Can you build a French version for Quebec?
We can build the structure of a bilingual site. The French copy should come from a native Quebec French writer, and Bill 96 applies to Quebec businesses, so check the details with a Quebec lawyer.
